Why should Children have Cellphones?
In my opinion, children should have cellphones. The most important supporting reason is making sure of their security. There are so many hazardous things in the society. So, they can be in emergency situation anytime.
They also can give parents their location by sending just a message.
For example, when they are in an emergency situation, they can send text to parents."mom, E!" How long does it take? I believe that it might take only less than 30 seconds. Moreover, parents can know their location by using GPS tracker where they are if they don't answer calls.
Besides, there are so many functions in phones.
That helps their learning in all cases. For example, they search some good information on the Internet as well as using dictionary. It helps their studies. Furthermore, they can learn about how being independent and how keep good relationship. I mean, they will get their own time by using cellphones. After that, they know how to deal with time alone usefully. As they are responding and calling, they learn little by little how to keep good relationships. It will be really a good base of experience for the future.
On the other hand, most parents worry about their phone bills each month. However, there are many good plans for children on wireless companies. For instance, parents can choose plans such as limited data, texts and calls. It will be good deal for parents and also for children.
